Janine M. Baquir was born in the Philippines and moved to Australia when she was seven. Janine has always been a bookworm. A passion for reading stemmed from a primary school teacher who introduced her to the world of libraries, showing her different genres and how to borrow books.
By age ten, Janine was introduced to J.K Rowling's Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, which ultimately led to dreams of a Hogwarts Acceptance Letter when she turned eleven.
Twenty or so years later, Janine's love of the Wizarding World propelled her to self-publish a book called The Ultimate Harry Potter Bucket List, resulting in an impressive review from MuggleNet. That book, in turn, gave her the drive to continue writing, and her children's picture book, We Share Our Planet, was hatched.
Janine dreams of making a difference in the world, so she was drawn to her nursing career. If she isn't at the hospital, you'll find her buried in a book or attempting a new hobby.
